About

Evolve Movement Studio was created to help our clients build a movement practice
that helps support them in all aspects of life.
Evolve instructors design a program with focus on creating strength and flexibility while reducing pain
so that movement becomes or remains enjoyable.

Cricket Foster

Christine “Cricket” Foster (E-RYT 200) is the owner of Evolve Movement Studio.

Cricket is a Holistic Health Coach and Functional Movement Specialist. She helps her clients everyday create movement in their minds and bodies. As a chronic pain sufferer with a wealth of knowledge from her own journey, she empowers and inspires her clients to help ease pain, develop strength, find flexibility and continue on their own wellness journey.

When two car accidents left her with major back and neck injuries, yoga helped reduce Cricket’s pain and delayed the need for surgery. She has been passionately teaching yoga and Pilates for 20 years. She recently added Progressing Ballet Technique to her toolbox of healing movement.

Cricket trained in Pilates Mat and Level 1 Reformer in 1999. She then completed her original yoga teacher training in 2001 in the Pocono Mountains and added a Yoga Alliance 200-hour teacher training program at Carrboro Yoga Company in 2013. Her desire to share this wonderful healing art & science with her students has led her to personally work with clients and teach classes. She completed her aerial yoga teacher training with momentOm Arts Aerial Yoga at Triangle Yoga in Chapel Hill.
