Why Yoga Teacher Training with Us?

With the previous lock-down, all sorts of yoga teacher trainings have become available. Online, live-online, 50% in-person, 80% in-person and more. Our training is still 80% in-person, which was the requirement of Yoga Alliance for many years, because I feel that hands-on experience is necessary to create the best, safest and creative yoga teachers.

We also take amazing field trips to experience other styles of yoga, of which I am passionate about as the last training I attended was designed like this. We really enjoyed the opportunity to try many styles. Many teacher trainings focus on one style of yoga, which is great, if that is the only style of yoga you are ever going to take classes in and/or teach. I feel that a 200 hour training should allow you the opportunity to experience the other styles to really get a feeling for which style(s) you prefer and then in your 300 hr program you should delve deeper into the traditions of that particular style.

I also feel there is not enough focus on anatomy and physiology in most other trainings. My partnership with Leslie Kaminoff, Amy Matthews and the Breathing room gives my students the in-depth look at structure and application in the training. I have found in the past that students involved in the physical therapy world have really appreciated these phenomenal teachers take on anatomy in yoga practice.

Our next training starts February 7th and there are a few spots left. Fill out your application today!
