Relax as you experience waves of soothing, echoing sound from traditional wind and percussion instruments, also known as a “sound bath”, which may help with stress, fatigue, and depression symptoms.
A typical sound bath will involve lying in a reclining position in comfortable clothes, covered or uncovered. Then several instruments will be used to create vibrations which will lead you deeper into a state of contemplation or relaxation, shifting from your body and mind’s fight-or-flight reflex to a state of rest.
This practice is a complimentary way of managing anxiety, soothing the nervous system, and releasing thoughts and ideas from your consciousness as you connect with your body.
All you will need is a mat, comfortable clothes, a blanket/pillow (if you want to use them) and your listening ears.
